As a Clear Waterproofing Membrane when applied to the shower floor and around the lower walls it creates a transparent shower tray which protects your shower now and from leaks in the future caused by movement. Remedial Membranes is the only remedial repair available on the Australian market that comes with a warranty not to leak in the future regardless of movement.*
Internal Applications have one important factor that needs to be taken into account, that is the safety of the product and health of home occupants.
When waterproofing externally with the fresh air or on a new building site where there are no occupants residing, it is common to use Polyurethane or Epoxy based waterproofing systems as the VOC and the odour emitted from the membrane does not offend or cause a health hazard, however with remedial applications the situation is the opposite, most remedial applications are done with the home being occupied and this drastically changes the products and materials that can be used for the safety of those occupants.
Clear Waterproofing Membrane (CWM) is a hybrid water based waterproofing membrane (not a sealant), is made up of 2 parts; CWM Part 1 is (approx. 90% of the total mix) is a water based waterproofing membrane and CWM Part 2 consists on an adhesion promoter, the two products combine to create a revolution.
